Frequently asked questions:
What mattress sizes do you have?
We have single (39"), double (54"), queen (60") and king (76") mattresses.
Soft or firm: which mattress should I choose?
It depends on how you sleep. Side sleepers often prefer a softer mattress. Back and stomach sleepers often prefer a firmer one. Our team in store can help you choose.
When should I replace my mattress?
Most mattresses should be replaced every 7 to 10 years, or sooner if you wake up tired or with back pain.
Do you sell bed and mattress packages?
Yes. Our COMBO sets include the bed and the mattress for one price — for example, the S-8032 platform bed with mattress, from $799. Delivery is free in Montreal, Laval and Quebec City on orders of $799 or more (before taxes).
Can I pay for my mattress or furniture in instalments?
Yes, with two options:
- PayPlan by RBC: $300 to $10,000, up to 48 months, 8% to 18% interest, soft credit check.
- iFinance: $500 to $40,000, up to 72 months, from 9.99% interest, $0 down, no early repayment penalty.
See our Financing page for details.
Do you take away old furniture or mattresses?
No, Optimum Plus does not take away old furniture or mattresses. In Montreal, old furniture can go to your borough's bulky item collection. Mattresses are not accepted in that collection: bring them to an écocentre (the Saint-Laurent écocentre recycles mattresses). Rules differ by city, so check your municipality's website.
